The Fear of Being Seen: What Happens When You Stop Letting Fear Decide for You
When I started my business, one of the first fears I had to face was the fear of being seen. But what I thought was a fear of visibility turned out to be something much deeper, rooted in past experiences of rejection and abandonment. In this personal reflection, I share what I discovered, how I took my first step towards being visible, and why understanding our fears is important, but choosing what we do about them matters just as much.

Rewriting the story
At eight years old, one comment from my guitar teacher became a story I carried for more than forty years: I'm not musical.
Without realising it, I spent decades collecting evidence to prove that story true.
Then one weekend, everything changed.
This is a reflection on the stories we inherit, the beliefs that quietly shape our choices, and how a single new experience can begin to rewrite what we've always believed about ourselves.
I don’t have a niche
When I started my business, one of the first things I was told to do was define my ideal client. It seemed like a simple exercise, yet something about it never felt right. Narrowing my focus to one specific type of person felt restrictive, both personally and professionally.
Over time, I realised that what remains constant in my work is not a niche, demographic, or category. It's the people I serve. The people drawn to my work come from different backgrounds, professions, ages, and life experiences, but they share a willingness to grow, explore, and meet themselves with honesty.
I don't see people through a single lens. I see how every aspect of their lives influences the others. I work with whole humans, and I refuse to build my business around a simplified version of either them or myself. It All Begins Here
